Brothers + Cousins = LOVE

Another highlight of the long weekend was the Guerard family cookout. Thanks, Nana and Grandad, for all the hard work and for bringing us all together. What a fun night and a special family!
Parker turned on the charm that night and rallied until the wee hours, and Turner is still talking about staying up late and playing with the big girls!

Sweet Friends!

Watch out: She can pump!

The Creech-Guerard tire swing...getting kinda FULL!
What a great and memorable trip to SC we had over Memorial Day weekend. It was full of fun and great friends.
It all started on Thomas' birthday (also our 10 anniversary!), when we went to Falcon Field to meet Daddy's corporate jet. What a neat experience to see it land and see the Chick-fil-A hanger and crew! We continue to be so amazed by the blessing of being part of the Chick-fil-A family.
Thomas had a ball on his trip, and his welcoming committee was quite proud to see him!
We had a great drive home and a wonderful weekend playing and enjoying the beautiful Charleston scenery. Water balloon fights, slip-n-slides, pools, play sets, cookouts and great friends and family made it so much fun.
Our cups runneth over. Thanks to all of you for making our lives so rich!!!

Big Wheels at Turner's Party

Parker and Ms. Gail -- Snuggle Buddies
It is so hard to believe that the school year is over! Turner had an amazing year with two wonderful teachers, Mrs. Schultz and Mrs. Jackson. We're going to miss them -- they were so loving and SO LOVED. What a blessing to have such a good experience. She can't wait to go back!
Parker also had a great year. He had two sweet teachers who took great care of him, Ms. Gail and Ms. Sandy. The last day was especially neat, since he snuggled for a full hour with Ms. Gail, whose son (who she says looked exactly like Parker as a baby) was recently deployed to Afghanistan. She said she cried for the whole hour as she held him. I think God knew she needed it, because Parker doesn't slow down very often for snuggle time!
Thanks to all who have loved and nurtured our children this year. We are so grateful!!!
Summer...here we come!

Big Babies

My babies are growing too fast! Parker, at 17 months, thinks he is a big boy and wants to do everything his Sissy does. He has mastered "NO" and "MINE," and his answer to every question is a vehement "NO, MINE." (Since she is often the target of his remarks, Turner keeps asking me why he's always in such a "bad mood!" :) )

Mountain Majesty

We had a wonderful weekend escape to Longview Lodge this past weekend. It was special to celebrate Mom's 65th and Mother's Day with my mom and sister!

We hiked, picked wildflowers, cooked, napped and played some fun rounds of Apples to Apples.

It is such a blessing to be able to enjoy God's beautiful creation in the NC mountains!

TIRE-d!

We had a blast on Sunday evening on our family trip to the "castle playground!" Parker has ditched the baby swings for bigger and better things, and his monkey sister has proven there is nothing she cannot climb!

Farm Fieldtrip

Pony rides (her favorite!)

Feeding the Goats!

Turner and her two buddies, Rush and Trevor

Turner's school took a field trip to Country Junction Farm last week! It was such a treat to get to go with her. The kids fed the animals, rode ponies, took a tractor hayride, and played, played, played.
