Sunny Beach, Or Snowy Mountains???

The thing that is pretty unbelievable about Southern California, is that you can be in 80 degrees at the beach...and then drive two hours and sled in the snowy mountains!  It's wild!  And wonderful!

Turner had a day off school, so we all packed up last Friday morning and headed to Big Bear Lake for our inaugural snow tubing experience.  It was so much fun!  The kids loved it, and so did the BIG kids.  Our family favorite was going down the mountain "superman style" holding hands.

Oh, and it didn't hurt that there was a "moving sidewalk" to get you back UP the mountain! :)
