Breakfast Surprise

Turner got up early the other morning and surprised us all by making breakfast.  She set the table and fixed everything in the photo (don't look for TOO many healthy items!), and then she woke us up.  It was so sweet to hear her clanging around downstairs getting it ready.  And even sweeter to "sleep in" until 6:30 and be off the hook for making breakfast!

Valentine Love

We had a great, party-filled Valentine's this year, complete with parties, candlelight dinner and heart waffles!  Our favorite:  I surprised the kids by decorating their doors while they slept!  So fun!

Craft Time

Parker and I have started having fun doing crafts together!  I think he takes after his sister with his love of painting...

(He wanted to take a photo of me, since I was taking some of him).  I am making Turner's Art Party invites!

Last Game for the Pink Strikers

Well, we closed out the Winter season with our Pink Strikers team.  They had an amazing fall and winter together and were unstoppable!  It will likely be the only time Turner is on an undefeated team in her life.  (Which will make "losing" a new and interesting teachable moment this spring!) :)

Oma!

We had a VERY special surprise visit from one of our GA neighbors the other week.  Oma was driving from GA to WA and was so sweet to take the time to bring books and treats to Turner and Parker...and some "soul" food for me!  What a blessed treat!
