Growing Up...

We had quite an exciting day yesterday!

It started with Turner's six month dental appointment, where the dentist informed both of us that Turner has two loose teeth (her bottom two). I could hardly believe it -- she's not even 5!!! But, he showed me, and they are truly loose.

She's definitely on the young end of things, but I suppose between her early talking and frequent talking, one could say she's always been "advanced" in the mouth! :)

Needless to say, Turner is elated! In fact, she bound into school and proudly told her teachers. All day, she had a smile on her face (a smile that will apparently soon sport two holes!).

Then, at gymnastics, Turner did a front flip on the bar ALL BY HERSELF! She was thrilled, and so was her teacher.

Wonder where my baby girl went? I don't know, but I DO know that I am super proud of my big girl who seems to be quickly taking over around here.

Halloween

Our fruit pumpkin from the school party (fully accessorized!)
Sweet l'il pumpkin
Our angel!

Turner's Class at the Carnival
Turner and Brayden
Turner was Line Leader at the carnival (BIG DEAL to her!)
This Halloween, Turner wanted to be an angel! (Not that she EVEN needed to dress up for THAT...ha ha!). She made a beautiful, glittery one and had a ball at her school carnival and trick-or-treating in the neighborhood!

Parker wasn't much for dressing up this year, but he did cooperate for Mommy to snap one photo! He's a cute little pumpkin, with or without the accessories!

More Soccer Fun!

Tell 'em about it, coach! :)

GOAL!
Coach Scott, Turner, Lauren, Addie, Erin and Daddy!
Most of the team! (We are missing Kelsey Holland)

GOOOO GATORS!

Chomp, Chomp!
BIG CHOMP!
Our little Gators pulled the "big" Gators through a toe-to-toe match against the GA Bulldogs in OT last night! GOOOOO GATORS!!!

I will trust in Your Word

We had a really mixed up day today, and it seemed that nothing went as planned.

Anyway, we were in the car after Community Bible Study, and I was sharing with Turner that I was feeling stressed and just didn't have it all together.

And she said to me, "Mom, it's all ok. 'God is your helper and you should not be afraid.'" WOW! I needed that reminder today, and God delivered it through the mouth of my baby girl.

Thank you, God, for your Word and for the wonderful people who volunteer and teach her about you at CBS on Friday mornings!

Curious about Football

The Photo Evidence

Parker is officially a "Guerard" boy.

He woke up this morning, and Thomas went in to get him. The first words out of his mouth were, "Daddy. Couch. Milk. Golf. Please." (Golf, of COURSE, means FOOTBALL).

Parker wanted to lie on the couch with his milk and watch football. Thomas could barely believe his ears, so he put the tv on an old Auburn game, and asked Parker again, "Are you sure you want football, buddy? Or do you want Curious George?" (Curious is one of Turner's favorites that Parker watches with her on occasion).

"No, Daddy. Golf!"

So, Parker laid on the couch...by himself...for 20+minutes this morning, drinking milk and watching football in sheer contentment.

Nana, in case you were wondering, it IS genetic! Lord, help me!!!
