Three Months!

Parker passed the three month mark yesterday! He continues to grow and change weekly, and is coo-ing and talking up a storm these days. Also, as his Prevacid kicks in, he is much more smiley! Yeah! He's started rolling over from front to back, and he thinks his sister is a comedian. He wore his first camo this month, and much to his mother's chagrin, got his first tick (what an outdoorsman!).

It's hard to believe that three months ago, he was in my tummy! We can't imagine a world without our Parker anymore. We've come a looong way, baby!

Singin' in the Rain

Yesterday was the perfect day...for singin' in the rain! And that's just what we did! Turner tried out her new raincoat, umbrella and boots and sang and danced all over the driveway. Nothing like some good, old fashioned fun around here!

UDDER-ly Awesome Party!

Turner has learned early on how to drag out a birthday! This weekend was her "South Carolina" party! We had a ball at Chick-fil-A with her favorite chikin eatin' chicks and bovine buddies! The kids played, ate nuggets and cow cupcakes! A good time was had by all.

My L'il Angel

It is my biggest joy to ask Turner what she learned at school each day. This was her recap of Friday's lesson. Thanks again, Ms. Jean! We are so grateful for you and for her sweet teachers. What a difference you are making!

Pops, This One's For You...

Can you see him? With the camo, he almost blends into the carpet!!! Ha!

AHHHHH...

Praise Moment: Parker slept through the night last night for the first time! HOORAY! I heard him "talking" this morning and looked at the clock. It was 5:30! I went in his room, and he was lying there on his back smiling (I assumed he was as proud as I that he had made it all night!).

We'll hope he shows off again soon!

Mother's Day!

Wouldn't it be great if EVERY day was Mother's Day? Well, in our family lately...IT IS! :) Turner started asking Thomas on Sunday if it could be Mother's Day. He made the mistake of saying "yes." The next day, he said "yes," too. (She was just too darn cute to resist!)

For those who do no know about Mother's Day, it -- in essence -- translates into "breakfast in bed." Cool, huh?! Turner has read about Mother's Day in a few books and magazines, and all of them involve a fun breakfast on the sheets.

So, Fathers out there...too bad for you! It's Mother's Day around here!

(Disclaimer: Please don't be too critical of our healthy Captain Crunch breakfast and my shot of "Coke" caffeine!)
